Czigan (sometimes also Cigan or Zigan ) comes from an ancient Silesian noble family. According to the current state of research, nothing is known about his childhood and youth.

At the court of Duke Christian in Silesia in Brieg, Wohlau and Liegnitz , Czigan was stable master.

On the bridal trip of his employer, Czigan accompanied him together with Johann von Spanner . On this trip, Czigan was accepted into the Fruit-Bringing Society on July 7, 1648 in Anhalt, together with his employer and Johann von Spanner . Prince Ludwig I of Anhalt-Köthen presided over the reception celebrations .

The prince gave Czigan the company name the Corruptor and the motto the kidney and bladder stone . Czigan Thunder Carnations ( Dianthus deltoides L. ) was intended as an emblem. His entry can be found in the Koethen Society Register under no. 507. The rhyme law that he wrote on the occasion of his admission is also recorded here:

The thunderbolt power spoils the kidney stone.
He will blow off the blow through her at the same time
Spoiling 'my name is now man let scream in the heart
Never push in the truck loose share.
I want to behave immaculately and always pure,
Practice diligently in all virtue beforehand:
The fruit that is supposed to be transported does not spoil,
If a righteous man is to be found in all virtue vol.
