Johann Georg Riegel

Johann Georg Riegel (born November 18, 1833 in Nuremberg ; † 1904 ) was a German architect and draftsman , but also a copperplate engraver .

Life

Johann Georg Riegel was a student of his brother, the painter and engraver Jobst Riegel († 1878). He mainly worked for architectural publications. He joined forces with the brothers Lorenz Ritter and Paul Ritter to form the Atelier Gebrüder Ritter und Riegel . There he worked as a copper engraver.
