Johann George Siegmund von Rephun

Johann George Siegmund von Rephun († September 9, 1788 in Wiederau ) was an electoral Saxon senior councilor in the Margraviate of Lower Lusatia and governor of the district as well as heir, liege and court lord on Wiederau in the Liebenwerda office .

Life

He was the son of Johann Siegmund von Rephun, heir to Wiederau and Sandbury, High Princely-Anhalt Privy Councilor and Chamber President, whose heir he became in 1771.

Johann George Siegmund von Rephun left behind two underage children, the son Ludwig Wilhelm Siegmund von Rephun (* 1784) and the daughter Henriette Louise Friedericke (* 1780) as well as the widow Maria Dorothea von Rephun. Due to the immaturity of his two children, there was a lengthy process to regulate his estate.
