Johann Hötzendorfer

Johann Hötzendorfer (born May 18, 1873 in Berg bei Rohrbach (Upper Austria); † January 9, 1947 there ) was an Austrian farmer and politician .

Life

The farmer's son and later farmer Hötzendorfer married in 1898 and had eight children. He was very active in the agricultural cooperative sector, was a co-founder and deputy chairman of the Rohrbach dairy cooperative and a member of the board of the Rohrbach warehouse cooperative. From 1909 to 1924 and again from 1929 to 1938 he was mayor of his home community. Between 1912 and 1918 he was a member of the Reichsrat and 1918/1919 of the provisional state assembly . In 1937 he received the Great Medal of Merit for his achievements .
