Johann Heinrich Kratzenstein

Johann Heinrich Kratzenstein (born July 6, 1728 in Wernigerode ; † 1790 or 1805?) Was a Brunswick lawyer and councilor.

Kratzenstein attended the Lyceum in Wernigerode and studied law at the University of Helmstedt , where he also received his doctorate. As a Braunschweig professor and councilor he was an assessor at the law faculty there. Later he became provost of the Marienberg monastery , syndic of the St. Lüdger monastery and director of the Helmstedt orphanage.
