Johann Heinrich von Keyserlingk (also Johann Heinrich I. von Keyserling or Keyserling; † March 18, 1734 ) was a Courland state official, country marshal and was a chancellor of the upper council in the Duchy of Courland and Semgallia . He came from the old Westphalian-Baltic noble family of von Keyserlingk .

Career

Johann Heinrich I von Keyserling was first royal Polish chamberlain . After moving to the Duchy of Courland and Semgallia, he was head captain of Golding from 1707 to 1710 and then became land marshal for the first time in 1711 to 1712 and for the second time from 1717 to 1718. From 1718 to 1727 he was ducal chancellor in the Duchy of Courland and Zemgale. A Polish commission ordered his removal because he had campaigned for the free election of a duke. He was the owner of the following goods: Dserwen (1704-29), Ligutten (-1712), Rudbahren (1724-28), Remessen (-1724), Sallenen, Bächhof near Neuchâtel, Hasenpoth Castle (since 1724), and Muischazeem u. Gaiken (since 1729).

Family and offspring

His parents were the Kurland Baron Georg Johann I von Keyserlingk (* around 1629, † January 20, 1705), Herr auf Rudbahren, Bächhof, Remessen and Sallenen in Kurland and Margarethe Anna a born black horse (* around 1643, † 15. November 1721) from the Sallenen house. Johann Heinrich I was married to Anna Maria von Nolde from the house of Gramsden († April 25, 1696) and to Margarethe Anna von Schlippenbach († March 4, 1740).
