Henrikas Kersnauskas (born May 28 . Jul / 10. June  1909 greg. In Molėtai , Courland Governorate ; † 9. December 1957 in Kaunas , Lithuanian SSR ) was a Lithuanian football player and coach.

Career

Henrikas Kersnauskas was born in Molėtai in the Courland Province in 1909 .

He probably began his career in Ukmergė in the late 1920s to play for the local clubs Šaulys Ukmergė and Perkūnas Ukmergė . At the beginning of the 1930s , Kersnauskas moved to Kaunas . First active with SS Kovas Kaunas , the center forward played for MSK Kaunas from 1934 to 1940 . After the Second World War he continued to play in Kaunas with Spartakas , Perkūnas and Inkaras . With the latter, Kersnauskas ended his career.

In August 1934 Kersnauskas made his debut in the Lithuanian national team in the game against Finland , in which he was able to achieve his first international goal at the same time. With the selection of Lithuania he took part in the Baltic Cup in Estonia in 1935 , and won this with the team.

For Lithuania, Henrikas Kersnauskas came to a total of 11 missions, in which he scored four goals.

From 1949 to 1957 he trained the FK Inkaras Kaunas .
