Johann Jakob Martini

Johann Jakob Martini (born July 24, 1659 in Heidelberg , † after 1687) was a German doctor, military doctor in Heidelberg and member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".

Life

Johann Jakob Martini studied medicine in Heidelberg and received his doctorate in medicine under Georg Franck von Franckenau in 1675 . He was the chief garrison doctor in Heidelberg. For the years between 1676 and 1685, activity data as a garrison doctor in Heidelberg are documented.

In June 1687 Johann Jakob Martini with the nickname PLATO II. Was accepted as a member ( matriculation number 154 ) in the Leopoldina .
