Johann Joseph Friedrich Lindner

Johann Joseph Friedrich Lindner (* around 1730 in Weikersheim , † after 1789 in Berlin ) was a German flautist .

Life

After the early death of his father, Lindner was raised and trained musically by his uncle Johann Georg Pisendel . Since he showed a predominant inclination for the flute, he continued his training with Johann Joachim Quantz in Berlin, whose best pupil he became. In 1750, Lindner was employed in the Berlin court orchestra , to which he still belonged in 1789.
