Johann Joseph Morper

Johann Joseph Morper (born May 19, 1899 in Bamberg ; † May 20, 1980 ibid) was a German art historian .

life and work

In 1938/39 he carried out an inventory of the art holdings of the city of Bamberg on behalf of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation and the City of Bamberg.

He published on baroque architecture in Bohemia and Franconia as well as on the history of art in Bamberg.
