Johann Maria Heimann (born April 3, 1878 in Burtscheid , † November 20, 1931 in Ziegelhausen ) was a German industrialist .

Life

Johann Maria Heimann was the son of the Cologne Commerce Councilor Johann Maria Friedrich Heimann . He attended the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Cologne and studied chemistry at the University of Heidelberg . Here he became a member of the Corps Rhenania .

After taking the chemical association examination, he first became a businessman in London. Later, as the founder's great-grandson of four, he became the managing partner of the Johann Maria Farina company opposite Jülichsplatz in Cologne.

He was a commercial judge, a member of the Cologne Chamber of Commerce and Industry , a board member of the Association of German Perfume Manufacturers and the Employers' Association of the German Chemical Industry. In 1925 he left the company for health reasons and settled in Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen.

Heimann was married to Hetty, née Neven DuMont , from the well-known Cologne publishing family.
