Johann Nepomuk Hebensperger

Johann Nepomuk Hebensperger (born February 1, 1893 in Ottobeuren , † November 10, 1960 in Dillingen an der Donau ) was a German Catholic clergyman , historian and philosopher .

Hebensperger was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD. He became an associate professor in 1927 and a full professor in 1947 and taught philosophy at the Philosophical-Theological University in Dillingen , where he has been rector since 1947 and at the 400th anniversary celebrations on 9/10. November 1949 was. His publications dealt with the church fathers Cyril of Alexandria and Augustine as well as other Christian philosophers. In November 1933 he signed the German professors' confession of Adolf Hitler .
