Johann Peter Bamberger

Johann Peter Bamberger (~ April 6, 1722 in Magdeburg ; † September 4, 1804 in Potsdam ) was a German Reformed clergyman.

Life

Bamberger was born as the son of the businessman Abel Bamberger and Magdalene Rosine, nee. Schröder born. He studied at the universities of Frankfurt and Halle and was on August 8, 1756 the Berlin Cathedral as the third pastor of Friedrichswerder Church ordained . In 1762 he was appointed 2nd Reformed pastor at the Trinity Church in Berlin and in 1766 as a councilor. From 1780 he was court and garrison preacher in Potsdam and was retired in 1799.

He married Antoinette Charlotte Viktoria Sack in Berlin in 1759 , daughter of the court preacher Friedrich Sack in Berlin.
