Johann Rembert Rode

Johann Rembert Rode (* July 12, 1724 in Soest ; † May 13, 1781 in Berlin ) was the first President of the Chamber of Accounts under Frederick the Great from 1768 ; his predecessor Christian Ludwig von Tieffenbach was subordinate to him.

In 1772 Rode was commissioned to take up West Prussia . His wife was Elisabeth Franziska Wülfing, born on July 13, 1731 in Hagen in Westphalia, daughter of the judge Peter Wülfing, whom he married on February 21, 1760 in Soest.
