Johann Samuel Arnhold
Johann Samuel Arnhold (born December 22, 1766 in Löthain near Meißen, † January 1, 1828 in Meißen ) was a German porcelain painter .
Life
Arnhold had been a flower and landscape painter at the Meissen porcelain factory since 1785 . In 1806 he became master drawing and royal court painter . In 1817 he designed the popular decor Voller green Weinkranz (coll. Vine leaves ) in chrome-green underglaze color. In 1819/20 he played a key role in shaping the Wellington service.
