Johann Scherer (composer)
Johann Scherer (* around 1740 ; † after 1768) was a German composer and flautist .
Little is known about the life of Johann Scherer. In 1768 he probably worked as a violist and flutist in the Kassel court orchestra . Various works that he composed for the flute have been preserved.
