Johann Wetzel (theologian)
Johann Wetzel (born June 24, 1570 in Mögeln ; † June 19, 1641 ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the general diocese of Lüneburg-Celle .
Life
Wetzel completed his studies in theology, which he completed with a master's degree. He was a pastor in Sandersdorf, was appointed pastor at the Michaeliskirche in Lüneburg in 1610 and first pastor at the city church of St. Marien in Celle and general superintendent of the general diocese of Lüneburg-Celle in 1621 .
