Johann Wolf (politician)

Johann Wolf (born May 7, 1931 in Raiding ; † June 13, 2006 in Stegersbach ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and senior secondary school teacher. Wolf was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1979 to 1989 .

After compulsory school, Wolf attended the teacher training institute in Vienna and passed the teaching examination for elementary and secondary schools. He then worked from 1951 to 1952 as an educator at the dormitory in Mattersburg and was then a teacher and educator in Vienna between 1952 and 1957. Wolf switched to teaching at the state vocational school in Pinkafeld in 1957 and became a teacher at the secondary school in Stegersbach in 1958. He was also a special contract teacher at the Bundesrealgymnasium in Güssing between 1963 and 1973 . Wolf was involved in the union and from 1986 was chairman of the regional executive committee of the public service union in Burgenland. In addition, from 1978 onwards, he was regional chairman of the ÖAAB Burgenland and represented the ÖVP in the National Council between June 5, 1979 and November 6, 1989.
