Johann von Wickede († 1509) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck .

Life

Johann von Wickede came from the Lübeck patrician family Wickede . He was the son of the mayor of Lübeck, Hermann von Wickede II . In 1495 he became a member of the patrician circle society and in 1506 he was elected to the Lübeck council. Wickede probably lived in his father's house at Königstrasse 17 in Lübeck's old town . Wickede was married to Katharina, a daughter of Mayor Hartwig von Stiten . After his death, Katharina married the citizen Klaus Kapenhagen in a second marriage and in 1515 in a third marriage the businessman Mathias Mulich .
