Johann von der Leiter
Johann von der Leiter (* 1470/71; † September 19, 1547 in Ingolstadt ), also called Hans the Younger, was governor in Ingolstadt.
Johann von der Leiter, from the Scaliger family, became Bavarian councilor in 1514 and land court master in 1541 . He was governor in Ingolstadt from 1517 to 1547.
In the Franciscan Church in Ingolstadt there is an epitaph for Johann von der Leiter, which was created by Loy Hering in 1571 . The governor, dressed in knight armor and the helmet lying in front of him, kneels in front of the asymmetrically placed crucifix .
