Johanna Skottheim (born May 29, 1994 in Transtrand ) is a Swedish biathlete .
Career
Johanna Skottheim has been involved in biathlon since she was 14, and she contested her first international races at the IBU Cup of the 2014/15 season in Duszniki-Zdrój, Poland . After several races in the IBU Cup, the debut in the Biathlon World Cup followed almost exactly a year later, in January 2016 . In the sprint in Ruhpolding , in 89th place, she clearly missed both the qualification for the pursuit race and the points. She competed in the second-rate IBU Cup for the rest of the 2015/16 season and also took part in the 2016 European Biathlon Championships in Tyumen .
In the following winter Skottheim started exclusively in the IBU Cup and the Biathlon European Championships 2017 in Duszniki-Zdrój. It was not until the 2017/18 World Cup winter that she was allowed to start again in the World Cup, in Antholz , finishing 66th in the sprint, she just missed qualifying for the pursuit race. Once again she took part in the European Championships , which were held in January 2018 in Ridanna , Italy .
