Johanneck is a church village and a former municipality in the district of Freising, Bavaria. Johanneck has been part of the Paunzhausen community since April 1, 1939 .
history
The Catholic branch church of the Assumption of Mary is a late Gothic hall building with a polygonal choir closure and a mighty six-storey choir flank tower, donated in 1466. Expansion and Baroque renovation took place after fire in 1640 and 1711. The tower is from the late 16th century and 1777. Johanneck became one in the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria in 1818 independent political municipality. On April 1, 1939, the community was incorporated into Paunzhausen.
