Johannes Grape
Johannes Grape (born February 25, 1870 , † February 11, 1940 in Großkühnau ) was a German Protestant pastor and local researcher in Großkühnau.
Life
Grape was pastor in Großkühnau from 1897 to 1928. Under his leadership, the parish Großkühnau-Ziebigk became independent. On July 21, 1928, after 31 years of service in Großkühnau and Ziebigk , he was appointed to the Church of St. Nikolai in Zerbst .
In 1904 Grape published the book 900 Years of Anhalt Village History - Pictures from the Past of Großkühnau and Ziebigk , written by Grape , in which he recorded contributions to the local history and the region of Anhalt. Grape was able to rely on notes from the teacher and cantor Theodor Hecht from Großkühnau.
His tombstone can still be found today at the Christ Church in Ziebigk.
