Johannes Kappes

Johannes Kappes (born October 12, 1773 in Frankfurt am Main ; † September 9, 1837 there ) was a judge and politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Johannes Kappes was a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main. In 1823 he became a board member and in 1834 director of the board of trustees. From 1835 to 1837 he was an appeals judge in Frankfurt.

From 1822 to 1834 he was a Senator and from 1834 to 1837 a Schöff member of the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt . In 1833 he was the junior mayor. He was a member of the Legislative Body from 1817 to 1831 .
