Johannes Laumann

Johannes Laumann (born February 18, 1901 in Linden , Hattingen district , † May 6, 1979 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1958 to 1966 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After completing elementary school , Johannes Laumann initially worked as a miner and later as a metal worker and milling cutter.

Laumann had been a member of the SPD since 1918, in 1946 he became chairman of the SPD local association Wattenscheid , and from 1948 to 1958 he was also chairman of the SPD district association. He was elected to the Wattenscheid city council in 1952 and was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group.

Laumann was a member of the local administration of IG Metall . Since 1954 he worked as a labor judge.

In the state elections in 1958 and 1962, he was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the SPD in constituency 101 (Wattenscheid); he was a member of parliament from July 21, 1958 to July 23, 1966.
