Johannes Müller (politician, 1865)

Johannes Müller (born February 7, 1865 in Elsenz ; † December 26, 1946 there ) was a German politician. The farmer was mayor of Elsenz from 1904 to 1933 . From 1913 to 1918 he was a member of the second chamber of the Baden Estates Assembly .

Life

He was the son of a farmer in Elsenz, was baptized as a Protestant and attended elementary school in his hometown, where he was then a self-employed farmer. He belonged to numerous local associations and was elected mayor of Elsenz in 1904. From 1913 to 1918 he was a member of the 66th electoral district (Eppingen district and parts of the Wiesloch and Sinsheim districts) of the second chamber of Baden, where he belonged to the parliamentary group of the right-wing association and was deputy chairman of the commission for rules of procedure, archivariat and library . He resigned from the mayor's office in 1933 at the age of 68.
