Johannes Matthias Roth (* 1967 in Weißenburg in Bavaria ) is a German Protestant pastor , songwriter and teacher .

Johannes Matthias Roth, son of Pastor Leonhard Roth and Martha Roth, b. Meyer, has written over 300 songs and ballads for children, young people and adult audiences so far and has organized more than 800 hands-on concerts, song recitals, sing-along services and song seminars at home and abroad since 2000.

Roth, father of three children, composes catchy and theologically clearly understandable as well as secular songs that are suitable for denominational kindergartens and schools as well as for religious instruction and community singing.
