Johannes Meiser
Johannes Hans Meiser (born June 30, 1931 ; † June 2, 2002 ) was a Bochum amateur cyclist.
Meiser was a member of RV Sturmvogel 04, from which the multiple world champion Walter Lohmann emerged. He was a successful biker amateur in Bochum. His most important successes as a cyclist were: Winner youth driving RRB Gladbeck September 19, 1948, Winner Italian hunting race RRB Bochum (May 26, 1949) and Stadtmeister Straße Jugend 1949. He was also a very good track driver. Hans Meiser won, among other things, the 15 lap speed driving in 1950 (2nd Schleier, 3rd Potzemheim), was the winner of the 50 km 2 team race with Alfred Poschmann RRB Gladbeck and was fourth in the German championship single pursuit 4 km. He died on a bicycle on June 2, 2002 while training on the so-called Sunday lap.
