Johannes Menzel (born January 21, 1997 ) is a German basketball player .

career

Menzel played in the youth of MTV Geismar , BG 74 Göttingen , Oldenburger TB and for the syndicate BBT Göttingen. He made the leap into the Bundesliga squad of the BG Göttingen , in the 2015/16 season he made his debut in the basketball Bundesliga in the shirt of "Veilchen" , while he continued to play in the youth and men's team of ASC 1846 Göttingen in the regional league was used.

For the 2017/18 season he went to the United States, took on a psychology degree at Arizona Christian University ( NCAA Division 2) and continued his basketball career in the university team "ACU" s. He played there in the 2017/18 season and came to an average of 5.9 points per match in 27 missions in the university team.
