Johannes Niks (born May 30, 1912 in the Estonia Governorate , † October 31, 1997 in Estonia ) was an Estonian football player .

Career

Johannes Niks was active in his football career, of which only the years 1938 and 1939 are known, at JS Estonia Tallinn and JK Tallinna Kalev . With JS Estonia Tallinn he was able to win the Estonian football championship 1937/38 , and at the same time be top scorer with 17 goals. In August 1938 Niks made his debut with his teammate from JK Tallinna Kalev Ervin Ollik in the Estonian national team against Finland . The international match, which was headed by the German referee Karl Brust , should also represent the last international match between the two players in the national team.
