Johannes Paul Scherer

Johannes Paul Scherer (* 1957 in Karlsruhe ; † March 17, 2003 ) was a German writer , author and teacher .

He studied biology , German and Catholic theology at the Karlsruhe University of Education .

In addition to his work as a teacher at a secondary school , he published numerous articles in anthologies and newspapers. He also wrote poetry on the side. In 1986 he published his first volume of poetry colored over gray and shortly before his death he put together his second volume asichdssache . However, he did not live to see the print run.

Scherer received the dialect price in 2000 for his best-known poem Nachds uffm Dorfplatz .
