Johannes Zachhuber

Johannes Zachhuber (* 1967 ) is a German Protestant theologian.

Live and act

Zachhuber studied Protestant theology at the University of Rostock , the Humboldt University in Berlin and the University of Oxford , where he received his doctorate in 1998 with a dissertation on Gregor von Nyssa . The journal for church history judged it: Zachhuber "has chosen a topic that is one of the most difficult in the history of patristic theology, namely the question of Gregor's view of 'human nature'". In 2011 , Zachhuber completed his habilitation at Humboldt University. After teaching at Humboldt University, he is now Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Trinity College, Oxford University.
