John Cameron (athlete)
John Cameron ( John A. Cameron ; born December 28, 1886 in Scotland , † November 17, 1953 in Vancouver ) was a Canadian hammer thrower .
At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920, he was eliminated from qualification without a valid attempt.
In 1930 he won bronze at the British Empire Games in Hamilton .
In 1922 and 1930 he was Canadian champion in hammer throw, and in 1922 in the shot put and discus throw . He set his personal best of 50.64 m on August 5, 1929 in Edmonton .
