John Chapman (soccer coach)

John Chapman was an English football coach and the sixth coach of Manchester United .

Career

After Jack Robson fell ill, Chapman replaced him in 1921. On October 8, 1927, the Manchester United board of directors received a telegram from the FA after Chapman was removed from his post as coach or manager of the Red Devils. The reason for the impeachment of the Englishman is still unknown today.
