John Goville
John Goville (born January 5, 1962 ) is a retired Ugandan athlete .
At the 1983 World Championships in Helsinki, the Ugandan 4-by-400-meter relay with Goville as the starting runner was disqualified in the preliminary run. 1984 at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles Goville retired over 200 meters in the quarter-finals. The Ugandan relay with John Goville, Moses Kyeswa , Peter Rwamuhanda and Mike Okot as the final runners reached the finals and finished seventh with a new national record of 3: 02.09 minutes. Goville was also at the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, here he ran over 400 meters and in the Ugandan 4 x 100 meter relay, but retired after the heats.
Goville won the 200-meter run at the East and Central African Championships in 1983 and 1990. With a height of 1.73 meters, he had a competition weight of 61 kilograms.
