John Herne Sanders

John Herne Sanders (born April 28, 1888 , † 1976 ) was a British author who was in the service of the Indian Civil Service (ICS) and also wrote under the pseudonyms John Anderson and Lex .

A standard work is his translation of the Arabic work written in rhyming prose by Ahmed Ibn Arabshah : The Miracles of Fate in the History of Timur on the Mongolian ruler Tamerlan (1336-1405), the founder of the Timurid dynasty.
