John Inman
John Inman (born June 28, 1935 in Preston , Lancashire , † March 8, 2007 in Paddington , London ) was a British comedian and actor .
Life
Inman attended Claridge House in Preston. He has worked as an actor and comedian in various film and television roles in the United Kingdom. Through his role as Mr. Humphries on Are You Being Served? he gained national fame in the UK. His longtime partner was Ron Lynch.
