John Jackson Miller
John Jackson Miller (born January 12, 1968 ) is an American comic book author and publicist , who is known in the scene for his results in the research area of the history of comic book circulation, which he published in the magazine Standard Catalog of Comic Books .
Since Miller himself had been collecting comics since he was a child, he turned his hobby into a profession and began working as an editor at the comic magazine Comics Retailer in 1993 . After the introduction of the trading card game Magic , he also added card games to his magazine and renamed it Comics & Games Retailer in 2001 . Since the takeover of Scrye (a magazine that publishes price lists for trading cards) by Krause Publications, he has also worked there as a publisher.
His first own comics appeared in 2003 with the Crimson Dynamo series by Marvel- Verlag. In 2005 he was hired by Dark Horse Comics for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic , of which he has produced several volumes to this day. In 2011 he published Knight Errant: Huntress of the Sith ( Star Wars: Knight Errant ), his first Star Wars novel . The following year the short story collection The Forgotten Tribe of the Sith: Stories ( Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith - The Collected Stories ). Miller also made the comic book adaptation of the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull .
In August 2013 he published the Star Wars novel Kenobi ( ISBN 978-3-7341-6009-7 ), followed in September 2014 by A New Dawn , which was published in 2016 as Eine neue damerung ( ISBN 978-3-7341-6072-1 ) has been translated.
