John Jahn

John Jahn (born March 24, 1870 in Kyritz , † February 16, 1930 in Sopot ) was a German mechanical engineer and university professor.

Life

Jahn studied mechanical engineering at the technical universities in Berlin and Stuttgart . After taking the main diploma examination, he entered the Prussian state railway service and, as a government master builder, was appointed to the chair for railway engineering and steam boiler construction at the Technical University of Danzig , where he worked until his death. In 1925/26 he was rector of the TH Danzig.
