John Lagrand

John Lagrand (born March 27, 1949 in The Hague , † June 30, 2005 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch musician. In his home country he was best known as the harmonica player in the blues band Cuby + Blizzards .
Lagrand began his musical career with the bands Livin 'Blues, Freelance Band and Water. Until 1999 he played with Cuby + Blizzards. Then he worked as a popular guest musician. Lagrand was an honorary member of the Dutch foundation Blues aan de Zee .
John Lagrand died on June 30, 2005 at the age of 56 in the University Hospital of Amsterdam of complications from pulmonary emphysema .
