John MacBeath

John MacBeath OBE (* 1940 ) is Professor Emeritus of Education at the Faculty of Education at Cambridge University . He is the director of Leadership for Learning: the Cambridge Network. Since 2002 he has been coordinating the Carpe Vitam Project , which investigates how school administrators can create a stimulating learning and working environment for students and teachers. The project is international and includes 22 schools from 7 countries. In addition, John MacBeath has placed the question of the effectiveness and self-evaluation of schools at the center of his research. He has presented a large number of studies on this subject.
