John Skovbjerg
John Skovbjerg (born January 22, 1956 ) is a former Danish long-distance runner who specialized in marathon distance .
In 1982 he won the Oslo Marathon , in 1983 he was Danish marathon champion and finished 37th at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki . The most important success of his career was his victory at the Berlin Marathon in 1984 in a personal best of 2:13:35 hours. At the Vienna City Marathon in 1985 and 1986 he came second, only beaten by Gerhard Hartmann .
