Torben Hildebrandt (born May 2, 1981 ) is a German journalist.

Life

From 2000 to 2006 Hildebrandt was a volunteer and editor at the Walsroder Zeitung . In 2007 he received the Leibniz scholarship for young journalists from the Hannover Press Club. From 2008 to 2009 he completed the RTL Radio Deutschland talent program in Berlin, in which Hit Radio Antenne participated.

By 2012, he was a reporter, news anchor and head of departments state politics at the radio station Hit Radio Antenne Niedersachsen . Since May 2012 he has been a freelance radio journalist in the state politics department of the NDR Landesfunkhaus Niedersachsen.

Hildebrandt has been a member of the board of the Lower Saxony state press conference since 2010 .

Awards

Hildebrandt won the RADIOJournal Broadcasting Award for young talent in 2007. In 2010 and 2011 he was awarded the radio prize of the Lower Saxony State Media Authority in the category Politics / Social Affairs / Environment in Lower Saxony : 2010 for the report Asse up close - Torben Hildebrandt underground and in 2011 together with Henning Laabs for the satire tutoring with Minister , both on Hit Radio antenna broadcast. In January 2014, the Federal Agency for Civic Education awarded him third place in the W (ahl) Award 2013 in the radio category for his chosen dictionary on NDR 1 Lower Saxony .
