John V. Luce
John Victor Luce (born May 21, 1920 in Dublin , † February 11, 2011 ) was an Irish historian .
Luce was Professor Emeritus of Classical Studies at Trinity College , Dublin, and University Spokesperson. Numerous writings on ancient Greece originate from him .
