Johnny Bottrop , called Jacho (born June 3, 1966 as Joachim Horns ) is a German punk musician.

Career

Bottrop founded his first punk band, the Hostages of Ayatollah, in Velbert in 1982 . The band made him famous in the scene, even beyond the German border. Bottrop later founded his own record company, which, however, quickly perished due to financial problems.

After the dissolution of the Hostages of Ayatollah, Johnny Bottrop moved to Berlin and began studying. This led to the fact that he was also referred to as "student" by the other band members in his band Terrorgruppe, founded in 1993 . After the dissolution of the terror group in 2005, Bottrop founded the music group The Bottrops in March 2006 together with the two former terror group members Slash Vicious and Steve Maschine West and Bang Bang Benno, a former member of the Xarecrows band . The band was active with a different line-up until 2014, with Cris Crise for Steve Maschine West in autumn 2006, who was replaced by Robo Borowski (also formerly Xarecrows) in autumn 2008. Since the founding of the band Terrorgruppe in 2013, Bottrop has been playing there again as a guitarist. Since 2018 he has also played bass in the band Acht Eimer Hühnerherzen .
