Johnson (musical instruments)
Johnson Musical Instruments is one of the best-known manufacturers of musical instruments ( electric guitars , acoustic guitars , electric basses , instrument amplifiers) in the lower price range. The company was founded in 1993. The products are made in China and exported all over the world. This makes it possible to offer the products at a very reasonable price, but this also affects the quality of the instruments compared to more expensive instruments from other manufacturers. The newer generations of electric basses and electric guitars are equipped with so-called Johnson EMG pickups , which use a similar concept for suppressing background noises as the original EMG pickups . There are also a number of electric guitar amplifiers that use tube technology for amplification. Furthermore, no cheap plywood is used, as is the case with other instrument manufacturers in the lower price range, which leads to sound losses. Johnson musical instruments are particularly popular with beginners and musicians on a budget.
