Jolanda Jones
Jolanda Jones (born November 6, 1959 ) is a former American heptathlete .
At the Pan American Games in Indianapolis in 1987 , she won bronze.
In 1989 she became the US champion. Starting for the University of Houston , she became NCAA champion in 1986, 1987 and 1989 . She set her personal best of 6068 points on June 6, 1987.
In 2004 she was a candidate for Survivor . From 2008 to 2011 she was a member of the Houston City Council .
