Jon Pardi

Jon Pardi (born May 20, 1985 in Dixon , California ) is an American country singer .

biography

Jon Pardi grew up in Dixon, California. The karaoke machine his grandmother took him as a child to sing and country music. As a 7-year-old, he sang publicly on his father's birthday. As a teenager he made his own songs and joined a band when he was 14.

After high school he performed as a country duo with Chase McGrew. When both went to college in Chico , they joined the band Northern Comfort . At the age of 23 he went to Nashville and after a year and a half he had a contract as a songwriter. He made connections and eventually got his own record deal with Capitol Records .

Already with his first single Missin 'You Crazy he came in 2012 in the country charts . The second single was a top 10 hit there and reached number 56 on the Hot 100 . It was also awarded gold . The following debut album Write You a Song came in at number 14 in the official album charts .

The following year, Pardi had a number one hit on country radio with Head over Boots . Likewise with the follow-up single Dirt on My Boots . Both singles went double platinum and were included on the 2016 album California Sunrise . It reached number 1 on the country charts and stayed in the charts for over two years.
