Jonas Aaen Jørgensen (born April 20, 1986 ) is a Danish cyclist .

Career

Jørgensen started his international career in 2006 with the Danish UCI Continental Team GLS . In the 2007 season he won his first international competition with a stage of the Triptyque des Monts et Châteaux and the Grote Prijs Stad Zottegem , a one-day race in the first UCI category . He won six other races on the international calendar in 2008 and 2009.

For the 2010 season, Jørgensen moved to UCI ProTeam Saxo Bank , for which he drove for four years. During this time he won another one-day race in the first category with the Grand Prix d'Isbergues 2011 and took part in two Grand Tours , the Vuelta a España 2011 and the Giro d'Italia 2012 , which he finished in 138th and 141st place respectively .

In 2014 he returned to a Continental team, the Riwal Platform Cycling Team , for which he won the Scandinavian Race Uppsala in his first year . He stayed with this team even after it received a license as a Professional Continental Team for the 2019 season .
