Jonás Cuarón

Jonás Cuarón (* 1981 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican director and screenwriter . He is the son of the director Alfonso Cuarón .

Jonás Cuarón studied film at the US elite Vassar College . In 2007 his first feature film, Año uña, was released . He co-wrote the script for the global success Gravity and created the accompanying short film Aningaaq . Together with director Alfonso Cuarón , he is nominated in the category Best Original Screenplay at the British Academy Film Awards 2014 .
